Alba Ministries

Alba Ministries is a Catholic lay apostolate. We partner with dioceses to strengthen their funeral and cemetery ministry. We bring operational excellence and a ministry mindset together, so bishops, pastors, and diocesan leaders can trust that every burial, every grave, and every family receives care with dignity and faith.

Burying the dead is a Corporal Work of Mercy. It also opens the door to comfort, instruction, and prayer. For many grieving people, the cemetery is the place where they meet the Church again. Every member of our team, in the office, on the grounds, and at the graveside, serves inside that mission.

In every diocese we serve, the local Catholic cemeteries and funeral homes keep their own names and are known as an Alba Ministry. Alba was formerly Catholic Funeral and Cemetery Services (CFCS).
